I am a mother of two energetic, fun- loving boys. They adore all things outdoors, no matter the weather.
As soon as the boys were old enough, they enthusiastically joined local sports clubs. Once the colder weather crept in, we needed to find the right gear to wear, under their kits, to keep them warm. Both boys loved base-coat leggings so much that they started to regularly choose to wear them, irrelevant of weather, as they found them so comfortable!
Once we realised how versatile and comfortable the boys found the leggings we tried but failed to find any variety. Unsurprisingly, the leggings market for girls is very different as every colour and design is available. We felt we had to do something. Our kids’ deserved some variety. Boring black just doesn’t cut it!
Our only concern was the nagging question, ‘how environmentally friendly are leggings?’ So, as a result, ‘Cotswold Wild Ones’ was born. A unisex, kids leggings company, made from eco friendly material.
We have spent two years researching, trialling and designing our unique, unisex leggings. Our appealing designs are comfortable, quick drying and most importantly sustainably sourced. Everything we couldn’t originally find, however hard we looked.
We wanted our leggings to have similar features to adult gym/yoga leggings, which offer support, comfort around the waist and breathability. We also wanted to ensure that they offer strength as well as stretch. A tall order but we feel we have created the ideal product.
Our little adventurers love them and we know your children will fall in love just as quickly. Not to mention how easy they are to wash and dry. In other words, these legging fit the brief perfectly. The only problem you will have is deciding which style you want!
Finally, we are proud to say that we have worked hard to partner with sustainable suppliers and are happy to assure you that our leggings are made from recycled nylon and delivered to you via eco friendly packaging. Our manufacturing process is ethical and transparent and we only work with GRS and OEKO-TEX 100 accredited suppliers.
Our recycled nylon fabric carries the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) Certification and is made from pre-consumer waste, such as off-cuts or excess industrial wastage. This is a great way of recycling fibres and reducing our dependency on the need for raw materials. This can make such an impact and can reduce energy and water needs by 30% and play its part in decreasing CO2 emissions.
